Adam: God's Firstborn Targeted The first and most precious gift that God gave to Adam was Eve, Adam's beloved wife ( Genesis 2:22-23 ). What a beautiful gift of companionship and love! Halleluah! Amen! But sadly, Satan used that very gift to begin his attack on God's divine plan. Genesis 3:6-7 tells us that Eve, deceived by the serpent, took the forbidden fruit and gave it to Adam. Their eyes were opened, and sin entered the world. Cain: Adam's Firstborn Targeted Remember Adam’s firstborn was Cain. And what happened? He turned out to be the first murderer ( Genesis 4:8-9 ).
